Wine of Excellence and Good Purchase
On the 3rd of February 2023, Revista de Vinhos organized a commemorative event for the attribution of Awards - “The Best of the Year 2022” - 26th Edition.
This time, the most recent launch – the Quinta da Bacalhôa Centenarium wine – was distinguished with the Wine Excellence Award. Produced with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot grape varieties, Quinta da Bacalhôa Centenarium is a wine with deep aromas, full of body and ripe tannins, perfect for accompanying red meat dishes.
Our regional wine from the Setúbal Peninsula, Serras de Azeitão Branco 2021 was also distinguished with the 7th Good Purchase 2022. Produced with grapes from the Fernão Pires and Verdelho varieties, planted in the plains and hills of the Setúbal Peninsula, this wine has floral and yellow fruit notes. It goes well with fish or light meat dishes, and is also recommended with the famous Azeitão cheese.
