1. SCOPE AND DURATION

1.1. The Mother’s Day giveaway (hereinafter referred to as the “Giveaway”) is promoted by Bacalhôa Vinhos de Portugal (hereinafter “Bacalhôa”), and is open to residents of mainland Portugal aged 18 or over, who follow the Bacalhôa Instagram account (https://www.instagram.com/bacalhoa), Bacalhôa Buddha Eden (https://www.instagram.com/bacalhoabuddhaeden), and Liliana Marques (https://www.instagram.com/lilianamarques750). Participation is not open to wholesalers, retailers, employees, or service providers of Bacalhôa or any entity of the Bacalhôa Group.

1.2. Participants must read all the terms and conditions of the giveaway carefully, as by entering, they automatically accept all the rules, terms, and conditions.

1.3. The giveaway will run for the period stated below, and is valid for entries submitted between April 11 and April 21, 2025.

2. GIVEAWAY MECHANICS

2.1. The giveaway will take place through an Instagram post in partnership with the following accounts:

2.2. To participate in the giveaway, users must:

  • Write a creative sentence related to Mother’s Day and Bacalhôa Buddha Eden;

  • Like the giveaway post;

  • Follow the accounts @bacalhoabuddhaeden, @bacalhoa, and @lilianamarques750.

2.3. Participants may enter as many times as they wish, provided that each entry is unique.

2.4. Any content not belonging to the participant will be considered spam and therefore disqualified.

2.5. Bacalhôa's decision will be final, and no objections or appeals to Bacalhôa’s decision or these Terms and Conditions will be accepted.

3. PRIZE AND ACCESS CONDITIONS

3.1. Only entries that comply with the requirements of section 1.1 and the remaining terms of this regulation will be considered valid.

3.2. The prizes consist of 4 tickets to Europe’s largest oriental garden, the majestic Bacalhôa Buddha Eden.

3.3. Prizes are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for other items or monetary value.

3.4. Winners must provide the necessary details to claim their prize: name, phone number, and email address.

4. WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT

4.1. Winners will be announced within 2 business days after the giveaway ends, via Instagram stories on the Bacalhôa, Bacalhôa Buddha Eden, and @lilianamarques750 accounts.

4.2. Winners will be contacted via direct message on Instagram.

5. SELECTION CRITERIA

5.1. Winners will be chosen based on the originality and creativity of their entry, in conjunction with the rules outlined in this regulation.

6. PRIZE DELIVERY

6.1. Winners will be selected by the Bacalhôa Group’s Digital Marketing team.

6.2. Winners must provide the necessary information for prize delivery.

6.3. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be converted into cash.

6.4. Participants under the age of 18 will be disqualified. A new winner will be selected who meets the participation requirements.

6.5. Submitted data must be legible and truthful. False or illegible information will result in disqualification.

7. GENERAL CONDITIONS

7.1. Bacalhôa reserves the right to delete any comment on Instagram that goes against the friendly tone of the giveaway or attempts to manipulate the rules, intention, or purpose of the giveaway.

7.2. Any participant acting in bad faith by using false information to manipulate the giveaway will be automatically excluded.

7.3. Bacalhôa reserves the right to amend, change, remove, or cancel the giveaway at any time, without prior notice and without owing any compensation to participants or third parties.

7.4. Bacalhôa reserves the right to exclude any individual from the giveaway in the event of a violation of these Terms and Conditions.

7.5. This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Instagram.

7.6. Participation implies full and unconditional acceptance of these rules.

7.7. Bacalhôa is not responsible for any technical issues with telephone networks, online computer systems, servers, providers, computer equipment, software, or email failures, nor for traffic congestion on the Internet or any website, or any combination thereof, including any damage or loss to participants or others related to participating in the giveaway.

7.8. Any unforeseen or exceptional situation not covered in this regulation will be decided solely at Bacalhôa's discretion.
