The Board of Directors of Grupo Bacalhôa has appointed Luis Ferreira to take on the role of CEO. Luis Ferreira holds a degree in Business Management and brings extensive experience in finance, operations, and management to the Group, having held prominent positions at companies such as Grupo Edifer, Motorola, and Jerónimo Martins.

Over the past three years, Luis Ferreira has worked closely with Grupo Bacalhôa and its internal stakeholders, and as of December 2nd, he will assume the Group's executive leadership.

The Board of Directors believes that this appointment will enable Grupo Bacalhôa to continue its path of growth and transformation, aligned with its strategic goals, while further solidifying its position as a sustainable company in the wine sector. The Board also recognizes the vital socioeconomic role that the wine industry plays in our economy, rural areas, and cultural heritage.
